Our Philosophy Bright Start Educare

At Bright Start Educare we weave our Te Whariki Curriculum with the Montessori Curriculum to create our distinctive programme.

We believe that responsive, reciprocal relationships are the foundation for providing a respectful, inclusive learning community.

Our teaching team recognizes the importance of the Treaty of Waitangi and incorporates the three principles (partnership, protection and participation) within our practice.

We empower children to be independent, life long learners and together create a platform, with a strong emphasis on real life experiences and the natural world to extend children’s unique learning abilities.
